Court Bond
A court bond is a surety bond that guarantees the principal will pay the court or some other obligee a sum of money -- including costs and interest -- if they unsuccessfully appeal an obligation required of a court such as a money judgment; wrongfully attach or reprieve property; or wrongfully file a restraining order.
Examples of a court bond include Plaintiff Bonds and Defendant Bonds.
NOTE: The applicant's signature must be provided as both Applicant and Indemnitor, and signatures must be notarized. Please forward with copies of supporting court papers.
