Administrator Bond
An administrator bond (probate bond) is required by a probate court to protect the administration of a will, estate, or guardianship.
In order to issue a probate bond, a copy of the "Order for Probate" is required, as issued by the court. This form shows exactly how much penalty a judge is requiring a bond to consist of, as well as other specifics. Without this document, surety companies will not look at any "Probate Bond Application".
NOTE: A personal financial statement must also be provided along with the application and court documents.
